Private cloud brief
Private cloud is a type of network structure behind a firewall and accessible through public cloud but well secures and well isolated from public internet cloud. This is an amalgamation of two concepts i.e. cloud computing and private network security and control.
Private cloud is a network based on the cloud services for certain limited number of users rather than every user who wants to use the cloud services. These networks cost a reasonable upfront or main capital investment to install and implement the strategies on them but they are very elastic and scalable as the other cloud networks are.
Private cloud is a concept for those big corporate who want to have the benefit of the cloud computing but do not want to lose control over and security of their networks. This is basically a private network with dedicated servers other network resources which are made available to certain big corporate allies or partners through certain defined security policies. The control over the hardware, software, security and other aspect of the data networks are not put in the hands of the third party or the party that provide the hosted services to the customers on the public cloud.
The private cloud is very useful for those big corporate which have mission critical information and data and do not want to relay on the third party security measures. Such networks benefit from the qualities of the cloud technologies and also keep the tight control and security on their critical resources as is needed. The upfront or CAPEX of this type of networks are almost the same as are for a dedicated private network for only company services.
You will have to buy all the network equipments or you have get those on lease, you will have to get collocation either rented or purchased and you have to hire human resources, plan the project and implement the same. Thus you need a full-fledged network setup with all related estate and human resources to realize this network.
Once you have setup your complete private network and hired required human and other auxiliary resources to manage it; then you are well satisfied with the security, control and access to your resource. You can use this network as cloud computing services for your trusted customers or you can share your business partners and other corporate customers as a private cloud on following models of cloud computing.

Both of the above models of cloud services are very suitable to be provided to the customers or can be received from the provider with full access and control over the data and network security. Private cloud services of Microsoft Corporations are the example for such services. This is a very limited form of cloud services which are being offered on public cloud or internet to every customer of need.
